WW2 U.S. T-handle shovel No.4

This is the well know U.S. T-handle model shovel.
These were used before the folding shovel model was issued and can be used on every display that represents a U.S. soldier before September 1944.
The shovel is in used condition and it looks like it has several layers of paint.
Never the less an original piece !
Can’t find a date, but it is marked on the metal head part and wooden handle with “U.S.”
