Airborne remembrance tin

Metal tin with airborne badge and flags.

Description / purpose:
A tin that was developed for the anniversary of the liberation 50 years before.
It has the 101st Airborne Division badge on the lid and on the sides are the flags from countries that helped Holland to liberate.
It was produced by a guy that wanted to move his museum from Veghel to Schijndel, but it actually never happened !
To say simple; they raised money for a good cause, but spend the money not on the way it had to be spend, because the museum was never build.
The lid has a small dent, but average condition is very good.
Perfect biscuit tin or a nice additional display item for those who love operation “Market Garden”
