U.S. Antarctica Service Medal

The Antarctica Service Medal was issued to members of a U.S. Antarctica expedition, participates in, or performs services in direct support of, scientific or exploratory operations on the Antarctica Continent.
Qualifying service includes personal who participate in flight or naval operations supporting operations in Antarctica.
The medal may also be awarded to any U.S. citizen who participates in Antarctica expeditions under the same conditions as Service personal.
