WW2 British open crate with foot powder

A wooden crate with 50 square shaped foot powder tins.

Foot powder was issued to each soldier to help to keep their feet dry and to prevent fungus and infections.

All tins are still full and each tin contains 1.75 ounces of foot powder.

The wooden crate is dated 28-7-44 and originally contained 320 tins.
When I acquired the crate, it was already open and had the tins shown here.
On the bottom of the crate was an original sheet of carton that was placed between the layers of tins.
I made a plywood insert, so that the tins came higher and the crate looks full.

Nice decorative crate with partial content.

Price is for crate and tins together.
