WW2 German leather strap

To my opinion a WW2 German leather strap.
Not complete sure it is WW2, because there are no stamps or markings on them.

What is was used for?
I don’t know.
May be a helmet strap.

Leather is brown of color, seen some use, smooth on the outside and more rough on the inside.
