WW2 U.S. Army Air Force A-9 flying cap rigger modified

This is a well know WW2 U.S. A-9 type flying cap.

However, the standard A-9 type flying cap is an all cloth made cap.
This one has added leather ear cups, so that a pair of receivers could be added.
It is a very early war version with rigger added ear cups.

Cap is in very good condition with all straps, hooks, buckle and studs complete.
Even the paper is still in the ear cups, what suggests that it is never used.

Nice label present that shows it belonged to the U.S. Army Air Force and dates it WW2.
After WW2 the title was changed to U.S. Air Force.
Also a label present that states it is a medium size.
