WW2 U.S. “Hot Box”

Everybody who collects WW2 U.S. material knows the “wood alcohol” cans for heating rations.
This is the early version packed in a waxed carton box, the so called “Hot Box”.
Issued with 10 in 1 rations and heats 1 meal for 5 man.

The Hot Box is still full and in very good condition.
